Bangladesh crisis: The son of Sheikh Hasina claims her political career is over.
Son of former prime minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina's advisor, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, condemned on Monday the violent protests that have engulfed the nation and forced the prime leader to step down and leave for overseas. In an interview with the BBC World Service, he added that this would prevent the Hasina from making a political comeback.
He stated in the interview that he was "so disappointed that after all her hard work, for a minority to rise up against her". He continued by saying that his mother had been thinking about leaving since Sunday and had left Bangladesh for her own safety at the insistence of her family.
