Delhi Vasant Kunj Institute Director Booked for Molesting 15 Female Students, Fake UN Car Plate Seized
In a shocking incident, the director of a Delhi-based educational institution in Vasant Kunj has been booked on charges of molestation after more than 15 female students came forward with complaints against him. Police confirmed that a case has been registered at the Vasant Kunj North police station based on the victims’ statements.
According to officials, the case came to light when multiple students accused the director of inappropriate behavior and harassment. Their detailed statements were recorded under Section 183 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) before a magistrate to ensure legal authenticity and protection of their testimonies.
During the investigation, police made a startling discovery. A luxury red Volvo car belonging to the accused was found to be fitted with a fake United Nations number plate (39 UN 1). Authorities clarified that the number plate was completely fabricated, as no such registration had been issued by the United Nations. The car has since been impounded for further forensic examination.
Officials further revealed that the accused had initially filed for anticipatory bail in anticipation of arrest. However, he later withdrew his plea, possibly due to the mounting evidence against him. The police, meanwhile, intensified their search and have successfully traced him near Agra. According to DCP (South West) Amit Goel, the arrest is expected soon, and further details will be shared after interrogation.
The institution where the accused held a leadership role has also taken swift action. He has been removed from his position, and management has assured full cooperation with law enforcement authorities.
This case has once again raised pressing concerns about the safety of students, especially young women, in educational institutions. The recovery of a fake UN car plate has also sparked questions about the accused’s activities and motives beyond the molestation case.
The investigation is ongoing, and police officials have assured that the victims’ identities will be protected while stringent action is taken against the accused.
