A memorial monument honouring the 31-year-old postgraduate trainee doctor who was brutally raped and killed at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on August 9 has been unveiled by junior doctors there.
Famous artist Asit Sain created the sculpture, "Cry of the Hour," which is intended to represent the victim's suffering and trauma. It has been positioned on a pedestal in front of the PGB Gardens, close to the structure housing the principal's office, according to the Indian Express.
