Santosh's selection as the official UK entry for the Oscars in the Best International Feature film category, according to actor Sunita Rajwar, is a "gift from the universe to me." "Yeh toh chappar phaad ke milne wali baat hai," she yells.
The 54-year-old is overjoyed with the acknowledgement she is receiving from the business community. "Aside from the remarkable quality of the movie, I play a solid and intriguing character... I've done so much work in the industry in the last 24 years, but I've never seen this happen to anyone. And it feels amazing that my name is also being mentioned along with Sandhya (Suri, director) and the major lead, Shahana (Goswami, actor)." It has the feel of a dream.
