Ed Sheeran returns favour, makes surprise appearance at Diljit Dosanjh concert in Birmingham

On the Birmingham leg of Diljit Dosanjh's current Dil-Luminati Tour, there was a familiar face. Ed Sheeran unexpectedly appeared at the Indian popstar's show, and the two of them performed together. This brought back memories for the internet from earlier in the year, in March, when Diljit assisted Ed during the latter's Mumbai play.

On Monday morning, Diljit and Ed shared a joint Reel on Instagram. In it, the former is seen performing at his Birmingham concert in an all-white avatar, and to the delight of the live audience, he screams in his characteristic Punjabi style, "Ed Sheeran aa gaya oye" (Ed Sheeran has arrived). Then Ed walked onto the stage, dressed in a dark grey track suit, a light orange pair of trainers and a black T-shirt.
