Mohana Singh becomes first woman fighter pilot in LCA Tejas fighter fleet

Squadron leader Mohana Singh created history on Tuesday when she joined the Indian Air Force's elite 18 'Flying Bullets' squadron, running the country's own 'Made in India' LCA Tejas fighter jet. Singh was the first woman to fly a fighter plane.Mohana Singh participated in the historic flight by the three vice chiefs of the three forces during the recent exercise "Tarang Shakti" in Jodhpur.
