Kolkata rape-murder accused Sanjay Roy's psychoanalytic profile: 'Animal-like instinct, no remorse, pervert'

Sanjay Roy, the doctor accused of rape and murder in Kolkata, has a psychoanalytic profile that indicates he is a "pervert and severely addicted to pornography," a CBI investigator said on Thursday. According to the officer, the individual has a "animal-like instinct" and during questioning did not express regret for the gruesome murder that took place within the state-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
Sanjay Roy failed to express regret for the crime that caused the country's outrage, the CBI officer told PTI. Without any reluctance, he told the investigating agency the whole crime scene.
"The man described the entire story, including every little detail, without faltering and exhibited no regret. He didn't seem to be regretting anything," the officer told the agency.
During her 36-hour shift, the doctor from Kolkata had gone to the hospital's lecture hall to relax when she was attacked. She was allegedly raped and badly beaten, according to the post-mortem report. She died from strangulation with 16 exterior and 9 internal injuries.
