ISRO successfully launches EOS- 08 satellite; SSLV development complete, says chairman Somanath
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched third developmental flight of Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh on Friday.
On Friday, August 16, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) on its third developmental mission from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Following a successful satellite injection, S Somanath, the head of the space agency, announced that SSLV development was finished.
"Everything is perfect," Somanath, the head of ISRO, confirms.
The third developmental flight of the SSLV-D3/EOS-08 small-lift launch vehicle has been successfully achieved, according to ISRO chief S Somanath. He continued by saying that there were no modifications to the injection parameters and the rocket sent the spacecraft into the precise orbit intended.
