Five days after it was claimed that Akshay Shinde, a contractual sweeper at the Badlapur school, had sexually harassed two girls in the school's lavatory, he was taken into custody on August 17.He was shot and killed on Monday night in Thane, close to Mumbra Bypass, after he is said to have stolen a police officer's gun.
